Terms & Conditions

These are the terms for DreamMyRoom’s £59 one-off Complete Room Design. They are written in plain English on purpose — you should be able to tell exactly what you are buying, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated 11 September 2026

1. Who we are

DreamMyRoom is a trading name of Vastmet Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13806310). Our registered office address is at the foot of this page. You can contact us through our contact form.

2. These terms

These terms apply when you buy a Complete Room Design from us. Please read them before you pay. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 and buying as a consumer for your own home. The service is intended for customers in the United Kingdom; product recommendations are based on UK retailers.

4. What a Complete Room Design includes

For one room, for £59 one-off, you receive:

  • a guided brief covering your room, your style, colours, budget and requirements;
  • a design built from your own photographs and approximate measurements;
  • three personalised design concepts for your room;
  • your selection of one of those concepts;
  • one included refinement — one controlled change to the concept you choose;
  • your Final Design;
  • recommended layout guidance, and colour and material guidance;
  • shopping recommendations with specifications, matched to your budget;
  • budget guidance for the room;
  • your Complete Room Plan online, and as a document you can download and keep.

One purchase covers one room. A second room is a separate purchase.

5. Price and payment

The price is £59, a one-off payment, including any VAT that applies. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Payment is taken by Stripe on our behalf. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never receive them. Your £59 is for the design work only — it is not a budget for furniture, and anything you decide to buy for your room is paid separately to the retailer.

6. Ordering, and when our contract starts

You place your order by completing payment. Our contract with you starts when your payment is confirmed, and we then begin creating your design. If we cannot accept your order we will tell you and refund you in full.

7. What we need from you

Your design is only as good as what you give us, so please provide clear photographs of the room, honest approximate measurements, and accurate information about what must stay.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the photographs you send us and that doing so does not breach anyone else’s rights or privacy. Please do not upload photographs of other people.

You give us permission to process your photographs and brief in order to create and deliver your design, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. AI-assisted design

Your concepts and your Final Design are created with the assistance of AI, working from your photographs and your brief, with automated quality checks before anything is shown to you. Your design is a visual and practical proposal for your room, not a photograph of a finished room, and not a technical or architectural drawing.

9. Concepts, your selection and your refinement

You receive three concepts and choose one. You then have one included refinement: one controlled change to that concept.

Once your refinement is applied, your Final Design is settled. Further changes are not included in the £59 price, and this service does not include unlimited revisions.

10. Your Complete Room Plan

Your Room Plan brings together your Final Design, layout guidance, palette and materials, shopping specifications and budget guidance. It is available online in your account and as a document you can download and keep. Please download a copy for your records.

11. Shopping recommendations and retailers

We recommend products and specifications; we do not sell them. Anything you buy is a contract between you and that retailer, and your rights over that purchase are against them.

Retailer prices, stock and delivery change, and are outside our control. Please check dimensions and current prices before you buy. Where a retailer link is a commercial link, our Affiliate Disclosure explains it and such links are labelled where you meet them.

12. Budgets are estimates

Budget figures in your Room Plan are approximate guidance based on typical UK prices at the time your plan is created. They are not quotations, and they do not include delivery, fitting or trade labour unless stated.

13. What this service is not

DreamMyRoom provides interior design guidance. It is not architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, building-regulations or surveying advice, and it is not a measured survey or a CAD drawing.

Measurements are the approximate ones you give us; we do not visit or measure your room. Before any structural, electrical, plumbing or gas work, or before ordering made-to-measure items, please have a qualified professional check the space and take their own measurements.

14. Using your design

We own the design work, the images we create and the Room Plan we produce. When you have paid, you may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use in your own home, including sharing them with tradespeople working on your room, and keeping them indefinitely.

You may not resell them, publish them as your own work, or use them to provide design services to anyone else.

15. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available and to deliver your design promptly, but we may occasionally need to pause it for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If something goes wrong with your design, we will tell you and put it right.

16. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

Because we provide design guidance rather than professional building advice, we are not responsible for the cost of purchases you choose to make, for work carried out by tradespeople, or for items that do not fit because the measurements given to us were inaccurate. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to a proportionate amount and, save where the law provides otherwise, will not exceed the price you paid.

17. Your statutory rights

You have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that apply whatever these terms say. A service must be provided with reasonable care and skill; digital content must be as described and of satisfactory quality. If we fall short, you may be entitled to have it put right or to a price reduction or refund. Nothing here takes those rights away.

18. Cancellation and refunds

As a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a personalised service like ours, subject to applicable UK consumer law.

Your design is created for your specific room, so before paying you are asked to tick a box that expressly asks us to begin providing the personalised service immediately rather than waiting for that 14-day period to pass. We record the wording you agreed to and the moment you agreed to it.

What that means in practice:

  • You cancel within the cancellation period, before work has started — you get a full refund.
  • You cancel within the cancellation period, after work has started but before the service is fully performed — we may charge a proportionate amount for the part of the service already supplied to you, where the law allows, and refund the rest.
  • The service is fully performed within the cancellation period — because you expressly asked us to begin immediately and acknowledged this at checkout, your statutory cooling-off right to cancel may end at that point.

This cancellation policy does not remove or restrict your statutory rights where the service is faulty, is not provided with reasonable care and skill, is materially not as described, or where another statutory remedy applies. In those situations your remedies apply in full — including having the work redone, a price reduction or a refund as appropriate.

To cancel or ask about a refund, use our contact form and choose “Refund or cancellation enquiry”. A person reviews every request, and refunds are made to your original payment method.

19. Complaints

If something is wrong, please tell us through the contact form. We will acknowledge your complaint and work with you to resolve it. Telling us early nearly always gets you a better outcome faster.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in force when you paid, and we record the version you agreed to with your order.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
